All diamonds weighing 0.50 carats and above are certified by either the International Gemological Institute (IGI) or the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the most trusted authorities in the diamond industry.

The 4C's of Diamond Quality

Both IGI and GIA use the 4Cs grading system, which evaluates:

• Carat: Indicates the weight of the diamond.

• Cut: Measures the craftsmanship of the diamond’s facets and their impact on brilliance.

• Color: Grades the diamond’s colorlessness, with D being the highest grade.

• Clarity: Determines the presence of inclusions or blemishes.
